Good question, right?⠀
Here are some good reasons to set goals.
Set a goal because you want to create more valuable experiences. Not because you want to be more valuable. ⠀ ⠀ Your value is already set.⠀ ⠀ Set a goal because you want to see what’s possible for you. Not because it’s possible that you can be more worthy.⠀ ⠀ Your worth never changes.⠀ ⠀ Don’t set a goal because you hate something about yourself. ⠀ ⠀ You can’t hate yourself better.⠀ ⠀ Don’t set a goal to make yourself more happy. ⠀ ⠀ Happiness is a feeling...so it comes from our thoughts...not our results.⠀ ⠀ Remember that every goal you set is totally optional and your achievement of it doesn’t make you a more amazing or happy human. ⠀ ⠀ Goals simply give us a way to learn to manage our brains and to learn and grow.⠀ ⠀ Set them out of love for yourself...and see how much easier it is to accomplish them.
