Second Guessing

It’s because you think there’s a right way and a wrong way to do it.

A right or wrong way to...

say what you’re thinking.

Discipline your kids.

Teach lessons.

Decorate your house.

Have an opinion.

A right or wrong...

Church family.

Schooling method.

But what if there wasn’t a right or wrong, correct or incorrect choice?

What if...when it’s not a violation of your morals or standards, the choice you made from your gut feeling is always the right one?

We Nines ARE part of the gut triad, you know.

What would change for you if you believed that whatever you decided was *supposed* to be what you decided, and you went ALL IN on it?

I want to offer that, in situations that don’t involve morals or standards, there is no *right* or *wrong* choice.

There are just *choices* that create certain *results.* And I really believe that God will always turn everything for our good.

One of my favorite beliefs that I love to practice is, “The Universe is always conspiring in my favor.”

And one if my favorite scriptures is, “And we know that all things work together for our good to those who love God.”

-Romans 8:28

What’s right to one person is wrong to another. Decisions just ARE. It’s all a matter of thoughts and opinion.

So why not decide that your choice was the right one for you at that time?

In those moments where I’m starting to spin in anxious thoughts, I like to remind myself that it was supposed to be that way. It may not feel very good, but I was supposed to say that, to text that, to decide that.

How do I know this? Because that’s what happened.

There’s no point in arguing with what was, because it already happened. It’s better to just accept it and then think, “That happened...Now what?”
